I've heard and agree with saying they're both macs. The idea is that Wall-E is almost 700 years old and Eva is new. If anyone cares to compare the old beige macs of yester-year with the sleek, shiny, white iMacs of today, I'm sure you'll notice something familiar.

EVE and Wall-E are facing the camera:
Eve: "Directive...I'm a MAC."
Wall-E:"I'm a P-Ccc."
Wall-E turns to Eve as he presses a play back button:
(Click then silence.)
Eve turns to Wall-E and downloads a song from
her i-Tunes selection:
(The camera slowly pans away as the two look in front of the lens.)
Eve then plays:
La Vie En Rose by Louis Armstrong.

Ares, yes Eve has a start up icon that looks like the Linux Ubuntu symbol. 1 large circle with 3 smaller ones. I think maybe the future robots on the spaceship are all Linux! Is OpenSource the Future??? TW.

Hi - I've seen the film WALL-E a few times now and I think Wall-E is a Mac. He has a Mac 'Bong' after he recharges with his solar panels. Eva is Linux. She has a Linux Ubuntu style logo (big circle plus 3 little circles) after she "Re-boots" after being shutdown and pushed down the garbage tube on the spaceship.
