Yeah I see it now that you mention it. But I think it has alot to do with the low contrast of the print, like how you can see he “smiles” more in the paper craft patterns.
Thanks for the input anyhow, I’ll be trying to improve it as much as possible.
Thanks.
I’ve finally gotten the full version of Pepakura Designer 2 now as well so I’ll be upping a template real soon.
hi, do you still have this great design? i love it but i can’t download it :(
could you send it to me? my mail is Link » []
thank you, sorry for my english ^^ greetings from Chile! :D
Oh yeah sorry forgot to update the link when I moved most of the downloadeble files on the site. It’s located at [mckack.diinoweb.com] named papercraft-guyfawkes.zip now.
Incredible! I like finding unique things showing appreciation to V,and this is awesome! Thanks for posting it :+)
What do I open this file up with? I’m not sure what to use. I’ve tried some different approaches but, it doesn’t work..I’m guessing an adobe reader of some sort..? Please, send me some information.
I am on a Mac which, unfortunately, Pepakura does not support. Are there any alternatives? It looks proprietary. Has anyone managed to convert this to a PDF ?
Updated the post, Flying Gerbil King :)
Unfortunatly I haven’t been able to figure out any methods of converting it from PDO to PDF and maintain the vector data so I’m “printing” it to a PDF file with a DPI of 1200, which should suffice.
Thank you, Much! I was about to steal my roommate’s computer and download Pepakura while he was out of the room, but your way is less subversive. :)
Well, only thing I can come to think of is to not “fold” any edges so it turns out all blocky like in the picture. Let the gluing together of the flaps bend the paper naturally to get a smooth mask instead.
Hm, not really much to explain. All you basically need to do is glue the flaps to the opposite “flap-less” sides after you’ve cut out all the pieces. In other words, don’t cut off the flaps! :) After that it should be straight forward like a puzzle game.
Tried it, wasted my time really, would have been better if you mentioned that it won’t actually fit your face :(
It does fit your face, check the new picture I added to the post. Just make sure your printer is printing without any margins or else it’ll most likely be squished together.
hola manes les mandava este mensaje x q en mi ciber va en el ciber q voy todos juegan con cheater en el counter pero yo no juego con trucos x q no se ninguna. me podrian pasar alguno ami E-mail es Link » [] GARCIAS

I tried this yesterday, and all was going well until I got to the nose. I’m going to try it again today, but sticking it to card. My attempt yesterday ended up with a non-centred nose.
The mask turned out great, thanks for putting my pic up. Although like I say, the first time, it failed badly. :P
Hi,
I can’t download the template. Is there a way you can send it in PDF format to me? Thanks so much.
Tried going directly to Link » [mckack.diinoweb.com] and get it there?
Well, I’ll post the reply I sent to an e-mail I got a while back…
There’s really no tricks to putting together papercrafts of any kind, the only difference is how complex they are and how much time you need to spend on it.
Here’s a good guide for instance on putting together a simple cube papercraft, like most of us have done some time in kindergarden or primary school:
Link » [www.azzixx.freehosting.net]The same rules and techniques apply to any papercraft so if you manage that one you should eventually have no problem doing the mask.
And of course, all the fancy tools ain’t needed unless you do papercrafts on a regular basis. A sharp exactoknife/scalpel, glue, precision and patience is all you need :)Good luck on your construction!
Why can’t you just make a version that you just fold directly so it becomes a mask, like its already done and you just fold it to get it ‘’smooth” or ”blocky”
Without separate parts most of it would have been flat and in some areas there’d be no space to cut out flaps.
You just be glad it’s not something like this: Link » [ghostman.zombie.jp]

Nice idea, looks pretty good, but he isnt smiling, so it doesnt look the same, plus ,you can buy one at a halloween store for a dollor, but way to go with the papercraft deal. looks pretty good.
